You don't need to have all the answers before booking. Each treatment serves as a starting point, and your session will be tailored to your body, needs and intentions on the day.
If you'd like some guidance beforehand, just send a WhatsApp message to +44 7470 059 858 and we can explore which option may be best for you.
-
If you're not sure which treatment to book, don't worry.
We'll begin with a consultation to discuss your needs, lifestyle and any areas of concern. Whether you're seeking deep relaxation, relief from muscular tension, support through stress and burnout, or a more holistic experience, I'll recommend the most appropriate treatment for you.
-
Your first appointment begins with a brief consultation where we'll discuss your health history, lifestyle, goals and any areas you'd like addressed.
You'll then be given privacy to prepare for your treatment. Throughout the session, I'll check in regarding pressure, comfort and any adjustments needed to ensure a safe and supportive experience.
-
For the best experience, I recommend:
Staying hydrated before your treatment
Avoiding large meals immediately beforehand
Arriving a few minutes early if possible
Wearing comfortable clothing
Being ready to communicate any injuries, health concerns or preferences
-
Your comfort and dignity are always respected.
You'll only be asked to undress to your level of comfort, and professional draping is used throughout the session. Only the area being worked on will be uncovered at any time.
If you would prefer to remain more clothed, this can be accommodated.
-
Massage should never feel unbearable.
Deep Tissue treatments may involve some intense sensations when working through areas of chronic tension, but pressure is always adjusted according to your comfort and needs.
Communication is encouraged throughout the treatment.
-
This depends on your goals.
For ongoing stress management, relaxation and general wellbeing, many clients benefit from a treatment every 3 to 6 weeks.
For chronic tension, physical discomfort or recovery support, more frequent sessions may be beneficial initially.
Together we can create a treatment plan that works for you.
-
Yes. Many clients seek massage as part of their wellbeing routine to help reduce stress, encourage relaxation and create space for rest and recovery.
The Grounded Human practice is particularly inspired by the importance of slowing down, reconnecting with the body and cultivating a greater sense of balance and ease.
-
Both Swedish and Deep Tissue massage use hands-on techniques to release tension and improve wellbeing, but they differ in pressure, focus and outcomes.
Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is a gentle to medium-pressure treatment designed to promote relaxation and improve overall wellbeing. It uses long, flowing strokes, kneading movements and rhythmic techniques to:
Reduce stress and anxiety
Encourage relaxation
Improve circulation
Ease mild muscle tension
Support better sleep
Leave you feeling calm, refreshed and balanced
Best for:
First-time massage clients
Stress relief
Relaxation and self-care
Mental and emotional wellbeing
General muscle maintenance
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue massage uses firmer pressure and slower, more targeted techniques to work into deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue.
The goal is to address areas of chronic tension, tightness and restricted movement.
Deep Tissue massage can help:
Release persistent muscle knots
Reduce stiffness and tightness
Improve mobility and flexibility
Relieve postural tension
Support recovery from physical activity
Ease neck, shoulder and back tension
Best for:
Chronic muscular tension
Physically active individuals
Office workers with postural discomfort
Restricted movement
Clients who prefer firmer pressure

-
Holistic massage is an approach that considers the whole person rather than treating the body as a collection of separate parts. It recognises the close relationship between physical sensations, mental wellbeing and emotional balance.
The massage is offered as a mindful practice that combines therapeutic touch with presence, breath awareness and deep listening to the body's needs. Inspired by contemplative traditions that regard the body as a sacred vessel of consciousness and the anchor of our experience in the world, the treatment encourages relaxation, self-awareness and a deeper connection with yourself.
Each session is uniquely tailored to your needs, creating a space to slow down, release tension and restore a sense of balance and vitality.
-
Four Hands massage is a unique treatment where two therapists work together in synchronised flow.
The continuous rhythm of touch can create a deeply immersive and profoundly relaxing experience that many clients find both calming and restorative.
