Booking Policy
All treatments at The Grounded Human are available by appointment only. By booking a session, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
Each appointment begins with a brief consultation to discuss your needs, health history and suitability for treatment. Clients are responsible for disclosing any relevant medical conditions, injuries or changes to their health prior to treatment.
The Grounded Human reserves the right to modify or decline treatment where it is considered unsafe or clinically inappropriate.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, missed appointments, or late arrivals that prevent the full session from taking place may be charged at 100% of the treatment fee.
Arriving late may result in a shortened session to avoid delays for following appointments. The full treatment fee will remain payable.
Refund Policy
Payments for completed massage treatments are non-refundable.
If you cancel or reschedule an appointment with at least 24 hours' notice, any prepaid amount may be transferred to a future booking or refunded at the discretion of The Grounded Human.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, missed appointments, or late arrivals that prevent the full treatment from taking place are not eligible for a refund and may be charged in full.
In the unlikely event that The Grounded Human needs to cancel an appointment, clients will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
Refund requests relating to exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Privacy Policy
The Grounded Human is committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information in accordance with UK data protection laws, including UK GDPR.
Information collected through booking forms, consultations, email enquiries or other communications is used solely for providing massage therapy services, managing appointments and maintaining client records.
Your personal information will never be sold or shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law. All personal data is stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting The Grounded Human.
Professional Boundaries
The Grounded Human provides professional therapeutic massage services only. Any inappropriate behaviour, language or requests will result in the immediate termination of the session and may lead to refusal of future bookings.
